ABOUT SARAH
I'm a multimedia journalist who is excited to enter the world of broadcast news following graduation.
I'm a senior at Loyola University Chicago finishing my B.A. in Multimedia Journalism and a minor in Environmental Science this semester. I have experience in broadcast-style news writing, producing a live-to-tape show, video and audio production, and social media content creation.

I am currently the Technical Producer for Rambler Sports Locker, Loyola's weekly sports broadcast. In this position, I produce and edit every show during the 2023-24 academic year. Alongside the executive producer, I lead a team of 20+ student journalists by assigning crews to cover local and national sporting events.

This summer, I was an Editorial Intern with Living on Earth—a podcast and radio show. Here, I produced environmental stories for the weekly show. In addition to audio production, I also developed my writing and content creation skills as well.

My documentary, Wired, explored the connections between education and technology. I directed, produced, and edited this piece and it won the Long-Form Documentary Student Production Award by the NATAS Ohio Valley Emmy Chapter.

Between classes, I am also freelancing. All of my work is available for viewing in this portfolio.

I graduate from Loyola in early May and am available to work starting June 1.
